Lavender Essential Oil Bath
VN, GF, SF
1/2 cup (or more) epsom salts
10 drops (or more) lavender essential oil
2 tbs (or more) olive oil
Make a small mound of epsom salts in bottom of tub. Make a small well and pour in olive oil. Add lavender essential oil. Fill tub with water and enjoy!
You can use other essential oils in this recipe depending on your personal preferences. Lavender is soothing and calming; rose geranium is sensual and orange is energizing.
This wonderful bath can help you unwind after a hectic day. As oil tends to float, the epsom salts help disperse the oils in the water. This method creates a more enjoyable bath than using oils alone. However, there will be an oily residue left in the tub which will make it slippery, so wash your tub afterwards.
